Installing in ChatGPT

Signing in works. What is missing is that nobody has walked ChatGPT's connector flow yet.

This One Is Not Ready Yet

Nobody has taken ChatGPT's connector flow through this server yet. Signing in works, and it has been walked end to end by hand with a Claude client, so what is missing here is the walk rather than the capability. The steps below are what I expect ChatGPT to ask for. Treat them as a sketch, not as instructions that have been followed, and this page is corrected the moment somebody has followed them.

ChatGPT's connectors do not take an access token, so there is nothing to paste except the address of this server. Like Claude Desktop, ChatGPT is expected to send you here to sign in and approve it once.

What You Will Need

A Follow Up Boss connection already added here, and a ChatGPT plan that offers connectors. Connectors are not on every plan, and which plans have them has changed more than once, so check inside ChatGPT rather than trusting a page that describes it from outside.

The Address to Give It

Wherever ChatGPT asks for the server URL, this is the value.

https://app.axelrivera.dev/mcp/follow_up_boss

It has to be reachable over HTTPS from outside your own machine. A localhost address works only for a client running on that machine, which ChatGPT is not.

What Should Happen Next

ChatGPT should ask this server how to sign you in, open this application in your browser, and show you a page naming what it will be able to do. Approving it hands you back to ChatGPT, connected, with nothing copied anywhere. If ChatGPT asks you for a client ID, a client secret or a header instead, stop: that is the part nobody has confirmed, and guessing at it is how a credential ends up somewhere it should not be.

Anything you approve is listed under Connected Apps on the Access Tokens page, and revoking it there takes effect immediately.

If You Get Stuck

Tell me what you saw. A page that has not been walked is corrected by the first person who walks it, and the details you can give are worth more here than on any other article in this section. In the meantime, Installing in Claude Desktop describes the same kind of connector on a client where the flow has been walked.
